Prayer Guide for Single Mothers in South Korea

Single mothers in South Korea are often treated like outcasts and second-class citizens, so much so that many of them give up their babies anonymously after they are born. This is a prayer guide for those single mothers in a society that is not accepting of them. Though they are not trafficking victims, per say, they are shunned and often disgraced, and many of their children end up in institutions. One pastor in South Korea has even created a "baby box" where mothers can drop off their unwanted babies instead of abandoning them on the street. Though this is better than the child being left to die, it still shows an extreme lack in South Korea meeting the needs of single mothers. There is often more government support for institutions and adoptions than for single mothers. My heart breaks for these mothers who feel they need to abandon their children. Please join me in prayer for them to know the Father's love and care.
